STORIES FROM ACROSS ERASTRA

Time Lost - Accent

Lila and Ethan in front of a clock tower.

Time Lost

YA Romantic Fantasy Adventure

Time is already broken when Lila stumbles into it.

Pulled a thousand years into the past, Lila finds herself stranded in an unfamiliar era alongside Ethan—and tangled in the aftermath of a catastrophe she didn’t cause. The timeline was shattered by Seraphine, and its fractures are spreading, warping magic, history, and the future of Erastra itself.

In this dangerous new age, Lila binds herself to a rare sand drake named Thorn and discovers that survival depends on more than raw magic. Ethan understands the rules of time better than anyone she’s met, and whether they trust each other or not, they must work together to keep the damage from growing worse—even if doing so forces them apart.

As the timeline destabilizes, alliances are tested and truths surface that could reshape the future of Erastra. Lila must decide how far she’s willing to go to set things right… and whether saving the world is worth the cost of losing the boy she loves.

Time Lost is a character-driven fantasy filled with slow-burn romance, found family, elemental magic, and a time-sliding system where every action matters. Expect daring escapes, shifting loyalties, and a race against a future that refuses to stay fixed.

About BL Iverson

I didn’t set out to become a fantasy author. I just couldn’t stop listening to the characters in my head.

It started about five years ago, when a young woman named Serurz wouldn’t let me rest until I began writing her story. She’s still growing into her own saga (second book), but then, just before Christmas 2023, someone else spoke up — a determined girl named Lila who had no intention of waiting her turn. She came with a time-sliding adventure, a stubborn spark, and a boy named Ethan. I had no choice but to set everything else aside and follow her.

I've always loved stories where people fall in love — where they grow, stumble, and find something better in each other. I believe in soulmates, though I also believe there’s more than one person in the world who can change your life. So, I write stories that reflect that: full of magic, tension, loyalty, and the kind of connection that bends fate.

Time Lost wasn’t an easy book to finish. I rewrote the ending again and again, because every version tore Lila and Ethan apart. Then one day, while lying flat on a physical therapy table, aching from more than just plot problems, the solution finally came. The path opened up — and so did the ending they deserved.

If you're a reader who loves stories where time isn’t quite stable but love is, where characters change through the choices they make and the people they fight for, then welcome. You're the kind of person I write for. I hope Lila’s courage and Ethan’s devotion remind you that hope is worth holding on to — even when the clock’s against you.

I’m currently developing Captain Stormbringer, a companion series that dives into ancient sea-magic, forgotten guardians, and the shadowed conflicts stirring beneath Erastra’s waves. Stormbringer, a tidebinder with a haunted past, will uncover secrets that tie directly into the larger timeline of Time Lost.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably imagining new trouble for my characters, wondering whether Serurz and Lila would get along, or debating if the sand drake deserves his own short story. (He does. He knows it.)
